    Time Event
    11:36p
    March Violets Homecoming.. erm.. Festival!
[Yes.. I'm lazy.. copied and pasted from the SBA MySpace blog]

    Well, that was fun!

I must admit to being a little worried when we first took to the stage around 7:30pm (or perhaps a tad later.. as the venue was prevented from letting folks in due to someone parking in front of the fire escapes..).

We began the set in bold fashion.. going straight into "Happy People".. to an audience of around 8 people..
I'm not at all sure when, or how.. but at some point during the gig the venue filled up.. so by the end of our set there was a veritable sea of faces before our squinty little rock and roll eyes.. and some definate cheering going on.. so all's well that ends well :)

The gig was a great deal of fun.. and possibly one of our best performances for a long time (although if you cut our 1 hour set down to 30 minutes, I guess you're halving the odds of us making our trademark improvisations..) ;)

Behinds the scenes, all the other bands were really great.. with a surprising lack of ego on display.. and I think everyone delivered a fantastic event!
So our thanks go out to Chris Reed, James Ray and Salvation.. and assorted session musicians and wardrobe arteests for making the event so much fun.

Special thanks go out to the March Violets for asking us to support them.. and an even more special mention to Rosie for just being so lovely.

Finally, thanks to everyone that made the effort to come see us at such an early time.. especially when the temptations of the Dry-Dock pub across the road must have been hard to resist ;)

Now we're all out of gig-juice until 2008.. which promises to be a runny year :)
